We’ll start in central Piazza Maggiore, the heart of town, with an intro on the history of this important historic square, then proceed along elegant via d’Azeglio to reach what was once one of the ancient access gates into the city and continue until we reach one of the best panoramic viewpoints over Bologna. You can choose to end your walk here and we’ll return to the city center together, or, if you’re up for a longer walk, we can continue walking along low-traffic asphalt roads to reach a park with beautiful views, then, along trails, walk to an ancient hermitage place, and finally descend back into the city via a panoramic road.

Duration: approx. 2 hours (short walk); 3.5-4 hours (long walk)
Please note: Walking shoes with good grip are required for this tour – no sandals or flip flops allowed.
